Query Language
The text search engine
allows queries to be formed from arbitrary Boolean expressions containing
the keywords AND, OR, and NOT, and grouped with parentheses. For example:
- emergency management
- finds documents containing 'emergency' or 'management'
- emergency or management
- same as above
- emergency and management
- finds documents containing both 'emergency' and 'management'
- emergency not management
- finds documents containing 'emergency' but not 'management'
- (emergency not management) and response
- finds documents containing 'response', plus 'emergency' but not 'management'
- manage*
- finds documents containing words starting with 'manage'
