J&M senior personnel have served in both executive policy and field command positions. We are knowledgeable and experienced in all phases and programs of emergency management, and have experience in the delivery of seminars, workshops, and training sessions, and in the design, conduct, and evaluation of exercises. J&M provides training that is more interesting and applicable because it is infused with “real” experiences and lessons learned from real events. Training and exercise services are available to elected leaders, business executives, emergency management practitioners, first responders, health care administrators and professional and administrative health care staff, degree students, and inexperienced surge personnel hired on-site to support response or recovery operations. In addition, many associations, consortiums, and higher learning institutions are offering certificate, undergraduate and graduate degree programs in Homeland Security and Emergency Management. J&M offers consulting services to assist in building new training institutes and in improving the effectiveness of existing institutions. Our practical field experience with first responders and emergency management personnel brings an unparalleled perspective to the development of curriculum and the delivery of courses in current and emerging fields of study. J&M has designed and facilitated workshops and focus group sessions to solicit stakeholder feedback on national level policy documents. J&M has devised a format to accurately record input and provide for the disposition of input to meeting participants. J&M has facilitated in-person workshops, video conferences, and a combination of both.
